Week 7 - João Sanches


Hello there,

This week, I focused mainly on the the game itself and on the playtesting questions.

Game

- Fixed a bug where the whormhole mechanic would teleport the player to different locations depending on resolution.

- Fixed a bug where the wormhole wouldnt precisely teleport the player to the desired location.

- Fixed a bug where the coin counter wouldn't show up when the player would  be in a different viewport.

- Now the resolution of the game is fullscreen to enhance the experience.

- I also helped a bit Bernardo implementing the pause and restart game functions.

- I changed colors of the the objects of the level to match the planet they are gonna represent:


Wormhole level will have blue-ish colors and will be dedicated to the god of Air, Uranus.


Asteroid level will have red-ish colors and will be dedicated to the god of War, Mars.

Clicking letters of the keyboard level will have grey-ish colors and will be dedicated to the god of Communication, Mercury.



Hopefully during the weekend we can do a finished product. I think what is missing now is connecting the levels to each others, changing some of the sprites and making sure the death counter is implemented.

Playtesting questions

- We did group reunions to discuss the questions we should ask in the google forms + ways we would register data and we did a playtesting document
