Week 3 - Bernardo Mota


Hello!

This is my first blog post on itch.io.

So, we first started developing this game by brainstorming some ideas for a backstory and a possible type of game and some game mechanics we could include. We opted for a 2D side scroller game because we had already played some of those before  (and I personally like simple game concepts).

We wrote a game design document to structure our work and divide tasks. I'm certain other posts talk about the tasks assign to other group members, but mine were:

— Developing personas of players who could play this game and how it would be related to their lives.

— Write a first tweet (just to create hype and excitement for the game)


As a sidenote, I'll be using game maker for developing my prototype on the next week, and it is likely that we will use the same game engine for actually developing our game for MOJO.


This is my first class in the game area, and I think I am enjoying it. It is definitely different from any other classes.
